Experience:
Since qualifying as a Toastmaster early in 2002, I have attended well over 120 weddings in that capacity, in areas a far afield as Bristol, Cardiff, Chester, Leeds, Blackpool, Preston, Knaresborough, Beeston, Nottingham, Scarbourgh, as well as local venues in Oldham, Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood. I have been engaged for Formal Dinners in Wales, Chester, Manchester, Rochdale and Middleton.
I have also conducted a unique baby-naming Ceremony in Middleton and featured in a television programme broadcast in the September of 2004.
I am an experienced After-Dinner Speaker, with a repertoire of 12 Talks on both humorous and serious subjects. In this capacity I regularly attend 90 to 100 functions each year, and have recently become a speaker on Cruise Ships.

I have been trained as a Toastmaster by the London Guild of Toastmasters.
I am an Associate of the Northern Guild of Toastmasters
I hold the National Vocational Qualification in Management at Levels 4 and 5.
I hold the following NVQ Qualifications, D32, D33, D34, D36
I am a Home Office Trained Instructor in several subjects including Police Duties
I am a Senior Lay Instructor in First Aid.

I am a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE). Awarded in 2003 for services to Romanian Childline and the Community of Heywood
I am an Officer of the Order of St John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.) Awarded for services to the Order of St John of Jerusalem
I am a Knight Commander of the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem (K.L.J.) Awarded for services to the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem
I am a Commander of the Companionate of Merit of the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem (CMLJ) .) Awarded for additional meritorious work for the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem
